Yes that's right our kitchen. Our kitchens are a chest of treasure, the wealth is right in front of us but we do not fully understand its value. Apart from culinary usages spices & herbs have been used in the Indian Ayurveda Medical system for centuries. But, we seem to have forgotten it lately. Didn't we? Below are most common ingredients of every food item & are present in every household where people eat!! Mentioned here are some of the key medicinal values of commonly found spices in almost every household.

Cinnamon –Dalchini
The unique flavor of Cinnamon is well liked in desserts, curries, & beverages globally. Furthermore, the plant’s curative effects have been admired & used in ancient medicines for millenniums.

Clove-Laung
Cloves are widely used in curries, soups, sauces & rice dishes. Originating in Indonesia, this spice can be used in stews & meats as well.

 Cardamom- Elaichi
